IHSS Public Authority assists recipients and providers within the IHSS program. Public Authority works closely with Sacramento County IHSS, but we are a separate entity.

Getting Started
Individuals approved to receive In-Home Supportive Services are Recipients. For questions regarding:
- Applying for IHSS services, contact Sacramento County IHSS at 916-874-9471.
Individuals that provide caregiving services to recipients are Providers. If you are already caring for a family member and need to apply to become a provider, please visit Provider Enrollment. For questions regarding:
- Payroll, call Sacramento County IHSS Payroll at 916-874-9805
